PAWS Atlanta provides love, nutrition, medical care and basic training to enrich the lives of homeless animals until permanent, safe homes can be found. Our mission is to promote responsible pet care, prevent pet overpopulation and enhance the pet-human bond. We are one the very few and oldest no-kill shelters in Georgia, offering pet adoption services, low-cost vaccinations, spay and neutering, discount health preventatives, behavioral training and education through community outreach.

Correction: In the article about 'greening' your cat we incorrectly stated that it was OK for flushable cat litter to go down septic systems. That is a typographical error and should have stated that septic system owners should not flush flushable cat litter. PAWS Atlanta regrets that error.
Bring your stories and dog photos. You don't have to bring your dog, but if it's something that has to been seen to be believed, then bring em too.
Piedmont Bark is located at 501 Amsterdam Avenue, Atlanta, 30306.

After giving her a once over we discovered that she recently had an imbedded collar. The collar was removed prior to her being turned into PAWS Atlanta, but some scabbing had started to occur. She's doing well, just as happy as the day is long. Everybody is not meant to have a pet and it's better off that she was turned in to us.
She'll be available for adoption in late May.
Come early, sometimes the clinic can get very busy. All your dog

This is an xray of Sinatra's leg. The leg is the more solid bit in the middle, while the outline of the cast is the outer most white lines.
The finger in the picture is pointing to the area where the break is healing itself.
About an inch and a half up from that you'll see a very faint line going parallel in the bone. We hope that is not a hairline fracture, but we'll have to watch little Sinatra to see how he gets around once the cast is removed.
Come get the discounted, vaccination love on May 17.
All your dog shots $45, cat shots $35.
We know money is tight and the PAWS Atlanta vaccination clinic is an excellent way to start saving.
1-3 on May 17, come early as it can get crowded.
